In the 1990s, we asked ourselves: Why discard production scrap from brake pads when these can be recycled and reused in new mixes?
That's how it all started, initially with one brake pad manufacturer, and soon others joined, as well as various vehicle and brake producers.
Today, we supply numerous brake pad manufacturers both locally and abroad with recycled materials made from used brake pads and production scrap from grinding dust and pads / linings.
We have closed the recycling loop for friction materials, preventing many thousands of tons from being disposed of or incinerated each year, by processing them into valuable raw materials for new friction products. This actively conserves resources and saves significant amounts of greenhouse gases.
RMS produces and distributes recycled materials under its brand Green Friction®, as well as ready-mixes with and without recycled compounds worldwide.
With our quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, we ensure proper planning, control, manufacturing, and execution of our products and services.
Furthermore, over the years RMS has developed additional business segments that have led to continuous growth. These include recycling granulates from plastics, screening & sieving technology, raw material processing, packaging services, and warehouse logistics.
In addition to producing our own solar power, we use only 100% certified green electricity.
